Solutions
Three sides of the same bid.
BidWorks serves three groups: owners who own and operate assets and contract out work, prime contractors who act as the owner's delegated delivery partner, and service contractors who perform the work. Each one sees the same bid from a different place.
Owners and operators
You set the policy. The platform executes it.
Asset-intensive companies in oil and gas, energy, power, utilities and industrial sectors. You run projects and contracts across field locations, plants or facilities, often through prime contractors and a wide vendor network, and you are responsible for procurement policy, delegation of authority, and auditability across the whole organization.

What is hard today
- Procurement rules are applied inconsistently between locations, even where the policy exists.
- Bid requests go out ad hoc and by email, with little structure.
- Comparing bids consistently is hard, and documenting why one contractor was chosen is harder.
- Large tender evaluations take heavy manual effort, and multi-hundred-page bids make it worse.
- Selection rationales are difficult to present defensibly to boards, regulators or joint venture partners.
- Vendor performance data exists but is not used across the network.
How BidWorks changes it
- Multi-location configuration with shared workflows and templates, so head office and field offices run the same process.
- A central vendor and prime network visible across every site, rather than a separate list per field office.
- Explicit modelling of prime contractors, with delegated authority and constraints set as configuration.
- A project template library with standardized evaluation frameworks, which is where comparability is decided.
- AI across Q&A, evaluation, shortlisting and post-project learning, with the reasoning visible.
- Site-level and portfolio-level metrics: cycle times, coverage, and contractor performance.
Your workflow
O1 to O2
Configure the workspace and define what each prime may do on your behalf. Nothing created later can bypass it.
O3 to O4
Build the vendor network once, then the project templates that decide what a comparable response looks like.
O5 to O6
Publish bids and run the open period, with every question and answer visible to every bidder at the same time.
O7 to O8
Evaluate against the criteria set up front, then route the award through the approver the value requires.
O9 to O10
Award, tell unsuccessful bidders where they fell short, and run the post-project review that feeds the next invitation list.
The tier that fits
Owners are priced per company by size and number of locations rather than per user. We quote against your actual footprint rather than publishing a figure that would not apply to you.
Single site
By size
One primary facility, no extra field offices.
- Fast setup of a single company and site with basic workflows
- Project templates for recurring scopes
- Structured bid creation, invitations and response collection
- Lightweight AI options for evaluation when you are ready
Small
By size
Two to ten locations, head office plus field offices.
- Multi-location configuration with shared workflows and templates
- Central vendor and prime network visible across sites
- Bids assigned to one or more locations
- AI-assisted evaluation and shortlisting that works the same way everywhere
- Site-level and portfolio-level metrics
Enterprise
By size
Many locations, business units, and prime programmes.
- Enterprise configuration for roles, workflows and location hierarchy
- Explicit modelling of primes with delegated authority and constraints
- Rich template library with standardized evaluation frameworks
- Embedded AI across Q&A, evaluation, shortlisting and post-project learning
- Deep reporting, and integration options including ERP, SSO, document management and contract lifecycle
Prime contractors
Work inside your client's rules, and be able to prove it.
General contractors and major service providers hired by owners to manage and deliver projects or programmes, usually with responsibility for selecting and managing sub-contractors, and for meeting the owner's safety, quality and compliance expectations while doing it.
What is hard today
- Every owner has different rules, thresholds and documentation requirements, and you have to hold them all separately.
- Managing sub-bids and coverage through email and spreadsheets is error prone.
- Proving compliance, meaning who was invited and why one sub was selected, takes real time to reconstruct.
How BidWorks changes it
- A per-owner prime profile with the delegated authority and workflows encoded, so the right rules apply automatically.
- The ability to run projects and sub-bids under the owner's rules and templates, adding your own requirements on top.
- AI-assisted evaluation of sub-bids, and recommendation reports the owner can interrogate.
- A full audit trail of invitations, evaluations and awards.
- One consolidated view of every prime programme and active bid, across all your owners.
Your workflow
P1
Accept each owner's rules on the record. Four owners means four separate rule sets, kept apart rather than blended.
P2
Bid for the owner's own work through the same contractor path as anyone else, with no special treatment.
P3 to P4
Create sub-bids from the owner's templates. Owner-set requirements are locked: you may add, but you cannot remove or weaken them.
P5 to P6
Score subs, recommend, and award within your limit. Above it, the decision routes to the owner with the full detail attached.
P7 to P8
Produce evidence from the record when audited, and feed sub performance into the post-project review.
The tier that fits
One figure per company, whatever the number of owners you act for or sub-bids you run.
Prime contractor
$500
Designated as prime for one or more owners.
- A per-owner profile carrying that owner's delegated authority and limits
- Sub-bids created from the owner's templates, inside the owner's phases
- Marketplace approvals checked against the owner's policy automatically
- AI-assisted sub-bid evaluation and recommendation reports
- Full audit trail of invitations, evaluations and awards
Service contractors
One profile, more of the work you are qualified for.
The companies that do the work: fabrication, construction, commissioning, maintenance and specialty services, from a single shop to a national network. You deal with both owners and primes, and today you deal with each of them differently.
What is different on your side
A capability profile that works for you
Beyond trades and regions, the profile carries your locations and the assets that distinguish you: specialist equipment, certifications and crews. Entered once and reused with every owner and prime on the platform.
A private response library
Your previous bid responses stay in the platform as your library. It is private to you. It is never visible to owners, to primes, or to other contractors, and it is never used to train anything shared.
AI-drafted responses from your own history
An agent drafts a response to a new bid from your own profile and your own library, so you are editing a draft grounded in your real history rather than starting from a blank form.
Opportunities you were not invited to
You are notified about bids you align strongly with but were not invited to, and can request approval to respond in one action. The request routes through the owner's marketplace policy.
What is hard today
- Requirements are unclear and inconsistent from one client to the next.
- The effort per bid is high relative to the size of the job and the revenue it brings.
- You rarely find out why you won or lost.
- You want visibility of opportunities beyond the clients you already work with.
- Coordinating several offices on overlapping opportunities risks inconsistent pricing and positioning.
How BidWorks changes it
- One contractor profile reused across every client, rather than re-entered for each.
- Clear, structured bid forms and required document checklists, so fewer submissions come back non-compliant.
- One view of every invitation, status and outcome, with the bid Q&A in the same place.
- A private pre-submit review that maps each requirement to your answer and flags gaps before the deadline.
- Win and loss analytics by client, region, office and scope.
Your workflow
C1 to C2
Build one profile, then see invitations from clients you already work with, and at higher tiers summaries of matching network-visible bids.
C3
Declare intent, or decline with a structured reason. The owner learns why coverage is thin, and you stop being invited to work you cannot do.
C4
Complete the structured fields the owner defined, ask questions in the shared portal, and read everyone else's.
C5
Run the pre-submit review. It is private to you, never visible to the owner or prime, and no score from it is stored where either can reach it.
C6 to C7
Receive the outcome with a report against the stated criteria, then take part in the review and receive a reference you can carry.
